4 C frozen tater tots

1 lb lean ground beef

1 envelope taco seasoning

2/3 C water

1/4 C taco sauce

1 C shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 C chopped red onion

1/2 C sour cream

chopped tomatoes optional

sliced jalapeno peppers optional

cubed avocados optional

Tater tot-chos


  1. Bake tater tots according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat, breaking into crumbles; until no longer pink in color; drain. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in taco sauce.
  3. To serve, top tater tots with beef mixture, cheese, onion, sour cream, and optional ingredients of your choice. Serve immediately.
